Request for Annual Report Testimonials

HOOPP is in the process of putting together the 2008 Annual Report and we're hoping that you might be able to help us by getting out the word to our members that we're interested in hearing from them.

We're looking for members, pensioners and administrators within your organization to tell us about why HOOPP is a good benefit or what part HOOPP plays in their retirement plans.

In previous surveys, our members have said:

• I was 23 when I became a member. I wasn't really thinking of my retirement then. Now, I'm 42 and am eagerly awaiting the day when I may retire.
• Without HOOPP, I was dependent on my husband's pension plan, which wasn't enough to retire on.
• I want to retire someday and if I didn't have a hospital pension that would be difficult.
• I was desperate to belong to a defined benefit plan that is safe and guarantees me an income. I have started late (I am 31) and HOOPP will offer me the security I need without having to do investing privately.
