Primer Alert: PA Calculator Updated

If you need to calculate a pension adjustment (PA) for a terminating member, don’t forget HOOPP’s easy-to-use PA calculator, which has been updated with the 2009 PA formula.

Please use this calculator to get a member’s PA based on annualized earnings and contributory service. A PA is required for tax reporting purposes.

For additional details on how to calculate PAs in special situations, check out Appendix A: A Guide to PAs, PSPAs, and PARs, in the HOOPP Administration Manual. It will be updated with the 2009 PA calculation soon.
