HOOPP Needs SIN On Incoming Documentation
At the suggestion of members and employers, HOOPP plans to move away from the use of social insurance numbers in the near future, thanks to its new system.
This year’s member annual statements, for example, didn’t use SINs.
But in the interim, while we’re moving towards this goal, it’s still necessary to include the member’s SIN on all documentation that is sent in to HOOPP in order to help properly identify the member.
