Part-time Awareness Campaign Takes Flight

Part-time employees help make up a vital part of your organization, so it’s important to not only attract those people but retain them as well.

To raise awareness of the benefits of participating in HOOPP, we’ve kicked off a campaign called “Because life isn’t a fairy tale” to let them know that, although life might not be a fairy tale, with HOOPP as a cornerstone of their retirement plan, they can get a lot closer to “happily ever after.”

The campaign, which features a poster, a brochure, and new content for part-timers, also promotes an online survey, which will give us a better sense of the financial planning needs of part-time members.

These campaign materials are being rolled out through all available channels, including:

  • employers (sent to CHROs in November)
  • hoopp.com
  • union representatives
  • HOOPP field service representatives

A quantity of these materials – posters and brochures – were sent to CHROs under separate cover in early November. To order more, use our Online Order Form. The campaign was announced via a Primer Alert on Nov. 9, 2007.

The campaign materials provide a high-level overview of the benefits of joining HOOPP for part-time employees. Full details on how part-timers can qualify to join HOOPP can be found in Section 2 of the online HOOPP Administration Manual.

Please help us better educate non-members about the benefits of HOOPP by putting up the posters and making the brochures available to allow part-time employees the chance to participate in our online survey and have the opportunity to win $20 Chapters/Indigo gift certificates. The contest ends Jan. 31, 2008.
