Buyback Is The New Term To Use
HOOPP has now adopted the use of "buyback" as the term used to describe past service purchase after testing with employers and members showed that buyback was easier to understand than past service purchase.
While we are in the process of updating our materials to reflect this change, please advise members that the two terms are interchangeable.
