Plan Committee

The Plan Committee oversees the design of the Plan benefits and the administration of the Plan. Its mandate includes:

• Reviewing and making recommendations to the Board of Trustees on matters, such as proposed changes to benefits and contribution rates
• Monitoring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, including the federal Income Tax Act and the provincial Pension Benefits Act
• Reviewing and making recommendations to the Board in relation to pension plan policies and monitoring compliance with such policies
