2007 & 2008 Contribution Rates the Same as 2006

A reminder – HOOPP contribution rates for 2007 and 2008 will remain the same as they were in 2006.

Under HOOPP, you contribute 6.9 per cent of your annualized earnings up to the year's maximum pensionable earnings (YMPE), and 9.2 per cent of your annualized earnings above the YMPE.

In 2007 the YMPE is $43,700.
