Retiring Abroad?

If you retire to live outside of Canada, HOOPP will pay your pension in Canadian dollars by cheque, mailed to your overseas address.

Alternatively, you can leave a Canadian bank account open. HOOPP will deposit your pension to that account automatically, and in most cases, you will be able to access those funds by a bank machine in your new country of residence.
