Electronic funds transfer offers faster pension payment

If you are receiving your pension by cheque, consider switching to electronic funds transfer (EFT).

Once you've signed up for EFT, your monthly pension payment will be automatically deposited in your account — no worries about mail delays, or having to get to the bank.

About 95 per cent of pensioners have made the switch to EFT.

To switch to EFT, call HOOPP and ask for a Pensioner Information Change form.

Or, you can send HOOPP Client Services a letter, quoting your social insurance number, home address and enclosing a void cheque to the address below.
