HOOPP's Board: New Chair, Vice-Chair for 2010

HOOPP is governed by an independent Board of Trustees made up of 16 trustees – eight appointed by the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA), and eight appointed by four unions.

The four unions are:

• Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA)
• Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE)
• Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU)
• Service Employees International Union (SEIU)

Ronald Meredith-Jones is the new Chair of HOOPP's Board for 2010. Mr. Meredith-Jones was appointed by the OHA. He is past Chair of the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute.

Helen Fetterly, Secretary-Treasurer of the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions, will become HOOPP's Vice-Chair. Helen was appointed by CUPE.
