Regional Representatives
Your field service representatives are now regional representatives – and there are now six of them!
The expanded team has been aligned to participating employers approximately along the LHIN boundaries and every HOOPP participating employer is assigned a regional rep.
The change in title from field service representative to regional representative better reflects the broader range of support and service the regional reps offer.
Your regional rep can answer your questions on Plan administration, features and benefits. As well, they will conduct presentations for your employees at your location on a variety of topics. For a complete list of services offered see below.

Administrative training
Reviews include:
- HOOPP's benefit provisions
- Calculating and reporting contributions, including helping you explain requirements to your payroll supplier
- Annual member data collection process
- Processes for events in the member's life cycle – from enrolment through leaves, disability and retirement or termination
- Using HOOPP's website and other information materials and tools
- HOOPP ESE training
- Webcasting sessions available as well
Member information & education presentations
Presentations for groups are available in both English and French. Webcasting sessions available as well.
- Overview presentation - can be tailored to specific needs such as:
- Part-time employees thinking of joining
- Part of a broader financial planning session
- Self service tools such as HOOPP Connect
- Annual statement presentation
- Best offered late spring or fall after annual statements are mailed
- Pre-retirement presentation
- Consider offering outside work hours and inviting spouses
Individual appointments with members
- Can be offered following group sessions
- Ideal for reviewing a member's personal annual statement
- 15 minutes per member recommended
Executive and Board updates
- Available to assist in explaining the Plan
- Can provide updates on funding and other topics to executives and boards committees
Helping to grow the Plan
- Educates prospective organizations who aren't already in HOOPP about the benefits of joining the Plan

- Your feedback and ideas are reported to HOOPP management
