Role of Management

The Plan Manager, as defined under the Agreement & Declaration of Trust, is the President & CEO. The President & CEO reports directly to the Board of Trustees. The Board has delegated - to the President & CEO - responsibility for overall leadership and management of the organization in accordance with Board-approved policies, subject to Board oversight and review.

The CEO ensures that the Plan is administered efficiently and effectively, and that the Fund is prudently managed to meet or exceed benchmarks.

The CEO is also responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing – in consultation with the responsible committees and the Board – long-term strategies and annual work plans to ensure that the organization better meets the needs of Plan beneficiaries.
