Starting Your Deferred Pension
Wondering how you can begin to collect the deferred pension you selected when you left your HOOPP employer?
Collecting your pension 60 or after
At age 60 you can receive your pension with no early retirement reductions. See below for instructions.
Collecting your pension before 60
If you are under 60 years of age but over 55 (HOOPP’s earliest retirement age), you can collect your pension usually on a reduced basis. See HOOPP’s early retirement table to see how your age and eligibility service will directly affect the size of any reductions that may apply to your pension.
