CPP Doesn't Affect HOOPP Benefits

No matter when you begin receiving your Canada Pension Plan benefits, it will not affect your HOOPP benefits.

This means your basic pension, plus any bridge or transition benefit you may be receiving, is not affected when CPP starts. The same is true when you are receiving a HOOPP disability pension.
