Three Months Before Your Retirement...

Here's what you should be thinking about at three months before you actually retire.

• Double-check your retirement date. Does the retirement date follow a birthday or eligibility service milestone?
  
  
• Ask your employer to send a Retirement Notice to HOOPP. Be sure your employer has your current:
  • mailing address
  • telephone numbers
  • e-mail address
  • other information needed for the form
    
    
• If you are eligible to receive pensions from non-HOOPP employers and want to receive these as soon as you retire, apply now if you haven’t already done so.
