Family Changes
There is nothing so constant as change. When you experience a personal change, it’s a good idea to let HOOPP know.
Marriage after retirement
If you acquire a new spouse after retirement, you may be able to provide him or her with a HOOPP spousal pension – at your expense. Some conditions apply - find out more about this option.

Changing beneficiaries
Your qualifying spouse is, by law, your primary beneficiary for HOOPP benefits, unless a waiver is signed. After you retire, your surviving qualifying spouse remains first in line for any benefits payable upon your death.
